End Of The Earth

Fisterra, Spain.

Loosely translates to “the end of the world”. It is the furthest point on the European continent. I came to see what the end of world looked like to Europeans before 1492, when it was believed that the earth was flat and sailing much further west would cause the ship to fall off the earth.

Sadly, the day is grey, gloomy, foggy, and rainy. I cannot see much past ten feet. Maybe trying to see much further into the future is not what the universe wants from me right now. I’ll concentrate on the beauty within reach; nurturing my relationship with my daughter who is next to me. Thank you for this lesson, thank you for opening my heart so that it sees what you are teaching me.
